Meet Kelly Short
Here at SeniorLiving.org, we take our research very seriously. After all, if we desire to truly help seniors and their loved ones, our resources must draw upon highly-credible research and data. That's why everything we publish is fact-based, accurate, and trustworthy. This is made possible by Kelly Short, the brains behind our research and data program.
Kelly is driven by rigorous research — as our mission hits close to home for her. She has watched four grandparents enter into assisted living and nursing homes. Two of her dear grandparents have since passed away. But visiting her loved ones — and having a front-row seat to the joys and hardships of aging — lends a certain richness to her research and writing. Kelly is personally invested in the outcome of her work and the seniors and caregivers who trust SeniorLiving.org.
Kelly is a former award-winning newspaper copy editor and designer. She has over 10 years of experience researching and writing for seniors and their loved ones. And with a Bachelor's in English and a Master's degree in Deaf Education, she has the education to support her real-life experience of serving the elderly.
