Kids Eat Free
Bringing the grandkids to lunch? Check with your local Denny’s location to find out whether it participates in the Kids Eat Free program, as participation and the days kids eat for free can vary. For example, in Louisville, Kentucky, kids eat free from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, but other franchise owners might pick another day to offer this promotion.
You can get up to two kids’ entrées for free (one free entrée per kid) with an adult entrée purchase of $6 or more. This offer applies for dining-in only and not for online orders.

Military Discounts
There is no company-wide mandate for a military or veterans discount at Denny’s restaurants. But Denny’s notes in a press release that they have a longstanding Veterans Day special for active and retired military personnel with a valid military ID or DD 214. Eligible veterans and members of the military can get a free Original Grand Slam for a certain number of hours if they dine in on Veterans Day at participating locations.
It’s possible that your local Denny’s restaurant might choose to offer a military discount of 10 or 20 percent off your bill, but don’t expect one. But it never hurts to ask!
