Every Wednesday, shoppers 60 and older (be prepared to show your ID for age verification!) can get 15 percent off on qualifying purchases in Kohl’s stores. With more than 1,000 stores in 49 states, Kohl’s senior discount benefits a huge number of older adults.

How It Works and Limitations
The Kohl’s senior discount can be applied to qualifying purchases made in-store but not while shopping online at Kohls.com. You can use Dollar-off coupons — including Kohl's Cash — with these discounts, but the Kohl’s sales associate will apply the coupons before discounting your total. Also note that the senior discount cannot be used with percentage-off coupons. (Ask your sales associate for details if this sounds a bit confusing.) You can’t use a senior discount to pay your Kohl’s credit card bill, purchase gift cards, or shop at Sephora at Kohl’s.

Kohl’s Military Discount
On Mondays, Kohl’s stores offer active military, veterans, retired military personnel, and their immediate family members 15 percent off qualifying purchases made in-store. To get this discount, you need to show proper identification to your Kohl’s sales associate. Proper identification includes a military ID card, a state-issued ID indicating veteran status, or Form DD 214, Kohl’s notes on its website.1

The military discount works the same way that the senior discount does, with the same limitations.
How It Works and Limitations
You can use Dollar-off coupons — including Kohl's Cash — with these discounts, but the Kohl’s sales associate will apply the coupons first and then apply the military discount to your total. Also note that the senior discount cannot be used with percentage-off coupons, and you can’t use a senior discount and military discount at the same time.
